What is the visa process in Mozambique?

Most travellers require a visa to enter Mozambique. We strongly recommend applying for an eVisa in advance to ensure a smooth arrival process.

Luggage Policy

What are the baggage allowances?

  • 20 kg per passenger (including hand luggage)
  • Soft-shell bags only (no hard suitcases)
  • 1 checked bag + 1 small personal item

What are the baggage dimensions?

  • Length: 62–70 cm
  • Height: 30–42 cm
  • Width: 25–30 cm

What documents are required?

Travelling with Hard Luggage

Read the following information

If you are travelling internationally with hard luggage:

  • You may pack a soft bag inside your suitcase and repack at our offices
  • Repacking facilities are available in Beira, Pemba, and Maputo
  • Excess or hard luggage can be stored free of charge for the duration of your trip at one of our bases

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees are based on notice period:

  • 100% if cancelled within 6 hours or no-show
  • 90% within 24 hours
  • 70% within 3 days
  • 30% within 7 days

We recommend confirming travel plans carefully to avoid penalties.

Please note: We hold no responsibility for delays on Ethiopian Airlines. The 2nd flight can be delayed until 4 pm, but after this, guests will be required to overnight in Beira and travel the following morning at own cost. The next-day flight would be charged at US$590 per person (min 2 pax).
